Dance Production	DNCE 24	DNCE 24 (Dance Production) students will learn the basic elements of concert production.
Dance Teaching Methods	DN-T 38	To develop and write lesson plans in ballet, jazz and modern dance. To experience and develop dance pedagogy applicable in ballet, jazz and modern dance. Students will be able to assemble a comprehensive job portfolio that includes a cover letter, resume and business card template. Students will be able to present a comprehensive portfolio that includes lesson plans, teaching analogies and personal responses that chronicle the process of becoming a successful dance teacher.
History and Appreciation of Dance	DN-T 20	Identify major artists of dance periods. Analyze dance in film and live performance. Compare and contrast classical and contemporary periods of theatrical dance. Assess the cross-cultural influences that have shaped theatrical dance. DN-T 20 (History and appreciation of Dance) students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the chronological overview of western theatrical dance from the Renaissance period to the present. DN-T 20 (History and appreciation of Dance) students will gain an appreciation of dance as a performing art. Identify a chronological overview of theatrical dance from renaissance court to present time.
Jazz II	DNCE 14B	DNCE 14B (Jazz II) students will be able to define intermediate jazz dance terms. DNCE 14 B (Jazz II) Students will be able to execute intermediate jazz dance technique.
Kinesiology	KIN 24	Students will demonstrate understanding of cardinal planes of motion and corresponding axes of rotation. Students will demonstrate understanding of the 3 classes of levers.
Modern II	DNCE 12B	DNCE 12B (Modern II) Students be able to execute intermediate modern dance techniques.
Repertory	DNCE 35	DNCE 35 students will demonstrate knowledge of the elements of Repertory Concert Production. DNCE 35 (Repertory) students will learn intermediate/advanced performance skill through the participation in the Repertory Dance company.
