Students will construct a keyword and full sentence outline using a speech organizational pattern, with credible research and attribution.

Forensics: Debate Team	COMM 17	Students will apply techniques from multiple genres of speech communication

Introduction to Communication Theory	COMM 30	Students will conduct research using a communication database. Students will evaluate theoretical components of communication theories. Students will construct a literature review on one aspect of communication studies. Students will assess various areas of the communication field and choose one specific area for further study. Students will analyze the relationship between social, political, and/or economic institutions and human behavior.
Introduction to Persuasion	COMM 9	Students will correctly identify and evaluate the use of classical persuasive techniques. Students will ethically apply persuasive techniques in message development.
