• Students will create visual representations by understanding the rules for depictions used in various contexts.
• Students will define and demonstrate the concepts of language and the linguistic and semantic features of American Sign Language.
• Students will identify and describe the structure and use of American Sign Language—with attention to sociolinguistics in the Deaf Community.
