As we move forward with the new year, let's start with a few pointers for student success:

  • In addition to checking Canvas every day – make sure you also check your Mt. SAC email and your portal every day as this is how we communicate with you!
  • If you have any questions – be sure to call us or email us. See the listing below for our main offices.
  • Talk to us about any questions, concerns, problems. We are here to help you and we understand how confusing things are right now.
  • Most importantly, continue to take precautions. Call our Health Center (909) 274-4400 if you have any symptoms or concerns about your health and mental health. We can assist you.

    • Spring 2021
      • 1st Day of Spring Semester – Feb 22nd
      • The majority of classes will be offered online – either synchronous (specified dates/times) or asynchronous (fully web-based)
      • Deadlines for excused withdrawal from classes - 
          • 16-week classes: Sunday, June 6, at 11:59 p.m.
          • 8-week or other short-term spring classes: One day before the last day of that class.
          • Students who drop will receive an Excused Withdrawal (EW) mark  will automatically receive refunds, unless they received a fee waiver.
          • An EW mark will not count toward the limits on how many times students can repeat a class. However, an EW may have implications for students receiving federal benefits (including veteran’s benefits) and students planning to transfer to a university. Speak with a counselor online before withdrawing from classes.

      Mt SAC students will be able to ride Foothill Transit buses for free through July 2021 by showing their Mt. SAC student ID cards. No TAP sticker is required.
      Get Student Photo IDs at bookstore tba dates in March.

    • Bookstore Hours (In-Person) and Textbook Rental Return
      • Return your rental in person to the Bookstore February 8-11, and Feb 16 2021 from 9am-3pm. This will be the ONLY opportunity to return your rental in person.
      • Nursing program students have assigned dates, please ask your professor.
      • Emergency requests can be made by email: sacbookrac@bkstr.com

      *Social Distancing protocols will be in place

      TEXTBOOK RENTAL RETURN VIA SHIPPING

      • You may mail back your rental. Please go to our Bookstore website and halfway down the page find the link that says "Rental Return" and here you can ship your book back to us by using the pre-made UPS shipping label. The fee is $5.00. You will need to know your order # along with the email you used for your order to retrieve the label. Please be sure to package your book securely so they don't get damaged in transit.
      • If shipping your rental via a mail carrier of your choosing, please include the following information that was used for your rental: Full name, Email address, Phone number.

      Winter Session Textbook Rentals are due on February 16, 2021. 

    • Laptop & WiFi Hotspot Loan Program

      Laptop Loan Request Form

      Students who are currently using a laptop on loan from Mt. SAC and/or are accessing wifi through a device issued by Mt. SAC, are able to keep their technology if they will be enrolled in winter or spring courses.

      Thurs, 2/ 11 –9:00am – 5:00pm
