Achieving in College, Ensuring Success (ACES)
The ACES (TRIO Student Support Services) Program at Mt. SAC provides comprehensive, individualized, and culturally responsive support to empower first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities to achieve their educational aspirations. Through academic advising, mentoring, advocacy, and holistic student support, ACES helps students navigate institutional systems, address barriers, strengthen their sense of belonging, and develop the skills and confidence needed to persist and succeed. Our goal is to increase access, retention, graduation, and transfer while creating equitable pathways for students to achieve their academic and career goals.

Summer Transfer Bridge Experience
ACES Participants will participate in cultural, educational, and community-based experiences that promote belonging, broaden perspectives, and foster holistic development. Activities may include community service, performances, cultural events, educational excursions, and outdoor experiences.
×Individualized Counseling
Schedule a Counseling Appointment with ACES
ACES participants will receive information and guidance on financial literacy, including scholarship opportunities and financial aid resources. Participants will also receive assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with support from a Mt. San Antonio College Financial Aid representative
×The ACES Program provides comprehensive transfer support to help participants successfully navigate the transfer process. Services will include individualized guidance with researching and selecting four-year institutions, completing transfer applications, understanding admission requirements and deadlines, and reviewing financial aid offers and packages. Students will be empowered to make informed decisions about their transfer options and pursue their educational and career goals.
×ACES participants will have opportunities to visit and tour college campuses, including California State University (CSU), University of California (UC), and private institutions. These visits will provide firsthand exposure to campus environments, academic programs, student services, and transfer opportunities.
