The IT Spotlight Award recognizes IT staff members who made a contribution to the IT Department or College Community and went ‘above and beyond’.

Krupa Patel has gone above and beyond in supporting the campus-wide implementation of Banner Self-Service 9 (SSB9). This transition was a major initiative for Instruction and required close coordination across multiple departments, end-user communities, and technical teams. Krupa played a key role in updating, testing, and troubleshooting the new system to ensure a smooth and successful rollout. Her strong working knowledge of Banner, combined with her thoughtful approach to collaboration, helped faculty, staff, and instructional leadership navigate the transition with confidence.

Beyond her technical expertise, Krupa is known for her friendly and supportive presence. She is a trusted resource to her colleagues, always willing to assist, explain, and problem-solve with patience and care. Her dedication and positive attitude have made a significant difference throughout the project and in her daily contributions to the team.
