Fulbright Opportunities for 2014 - 2015 "The Fulbright Program is the flagship international education exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government." Since 1946, the Fulbright Program has been providing academic opportunities "to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns." Fulbright Programs run from as short as two weeks to as long as an academic year; Fulbright Awards are available for teachers, college faculty, professionals and administrators. For the 2014-15 academic year, there are over 800 Awards available in nearly every country world-wide. In this workshop, representatives from the Global Opportunities office will provide an overview of the major Fulbright Programs relevant to Mt. SAC faculty, managers, and staff and review the basic process for applying for a Fulbright Award. |
