PAST EVENTS
Mt. SAC partnered with Cal Poly Pomona to offer PRE-PolyTransfer Summer Academy experience specifically for students that identify as Asian Pacific Islander Desi-American. Students engaged in a wealth of workshops that focused on building their social and navigational capital as well as introduced them to support services available to APIDA students. They were able to explore transfer university options & get to know APIDA faculty members.

3:00pm - 6:00pmThis is a community engagement event for our prospective Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) students & their families that live within the communities that serve Mt. SAC & Cal Poly Pomona.
Our aim is to connect with APIDA families that are not currently attending college to showcase our services with a day celebrating culture, education, & fun!
Funded by the Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) Cooperative Grant, Student Equity Achievement Program (SEAP), & Outreach, Retention, & Enrollment Grant.
