I was born in Pasadena, California and raised in upland, California. During my senior year at Upland High School, I enlisted into the U.S. Army. I joined the Army simply because I love my country and knew it would set me up for a lifetime of success. I served as a military police officer (31B) at Fort Drum, New York. On top of law enforcement duties, I worked in the S3 operations section as a  Battalion Schools Non-commissioned officer (NCO) and the Public Affairs officer. I have been awarded the National Defense medal, Global War on Terrorism service medal, and Army Service ribbon. Serving will always be one of my life's greatest honors.
