Mt. SAC High School Honor Band

The Mt. San Antonio College High School Honor Band is an audition-only ensemble designed to bring prospective students to Mt. SAC for a week of artistry, collaboration, music education, and an in-depth glimpse of what the study of music at Mt. SAC entails. Participating students spend a week in rehearsals, sectionals, and clinics on campus with Mt. SAC's exceptional music faculty. Additionally, each year, an esteemed composer is invited to collaborate with the High School Honor Band as Composer-in-Residence. Past composers have included Michael Markowski, and Frank Ticheli. Honor Band Week culminates in the Sophia B. Clarke Theater with a shared concert ("Band-o-rama") which features the Mt. SAC Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and High School Honor Band.
