Chamber Ensembles

  • Students in the Mt. San Antonio College Bands have the opportunity to make music in both large and small ensembles. Utilizing a pool system, players are assigned to various Chamber Ensembles. The Chamber Ensembles rehearse weekly, and present concerts during each concert season, and in conjunction with the Mt. San Antonio College Bands. Chamber Ensembles are classes taken for academic credit, and each chamber ensemble is coached by quality applied faculty instructors who are active professional musicians. Chamber Ensemble concerts are held in the state-of-the-art William H. Feddersen Recital Hall on the Mt. San Antonio College Campus.

Applied Lessons

  • Music Majors At Mt. San Antonio College have the opportunity to take applied lessons on their instruments as part of the larger music curriculum. As with the Chamber Ensembles, the applied private lessons are taught by wind and percussion faculty that are active professional musicians with a host of teaching and performing experience. The Mt. San Antonio College Applied Faculty are fantastic artists that were trained under the finest instrumental pedagogues in their field at the some of the most renowned and finest schools of music in the United States.
