Born and raised in Southern California, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy when I was 23 in 2011. My rate was CS and I went to boot camp in Great Lakes, followed by A-school in Virginia. After completing training and school, I was stationed overseas in Yokosuka, Japan for my entire enlistment. I was attached to the USS George Washington (GW) CVN 73. I completed 3 deployments during my time on the GW, visiting Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Guam and others.

I started here at Mt. SAC in the fall of 2015 and am currently working on my transfer to obtain Bachelor Degree in Sociology from the University of La Verne. 

I owe my success to my mother, who has always encouraged and supported me…As well as the military who helped me “grow the fu@# up”. And lastly, Bacon!
