Chuong Tran
Recognized at 2015 Classy Awards

Chuong Tran, Mt. SAC Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer, was recognized for his contributions to various IT projects that promote student success. He was instrumental in redesigning the interface for student fee payments to ensure data security and compliance with applicable laws. Chuong is also the primary programmer for the College's Mountie Academic Plan (MAP) system which enables all students to create their roadmap for success at Mt. SAC. Some of Chuong's programs have become statewide models and are utilized by other California community colleges. Chuong has been a Mt. SAC employee for more than 10 years. He is a valued member of the Information Technology team. The Creativity & Innovation Classy Award recognizes the classified staff member who exhibits initiative and creativity resulting in improved operations.
