Accounting and Finance Professionals are in high demand in nearly every corner of the business world, from manufacturing and real estate to construction and healthcare. The opportunities are numerous for students who want to pursue an accounting career, both at the clerical level and professional level.
The Management program at Mt. San Antonio College focuses on practical applications of management, business communications and marketing theory. Students are exposed to the latest trends in these disciplines and learning goals are reinforced with experiential learning activities. Our program provides various opportunities where students can become involved and add value to their educational experience, helping students to find the best career choice for them.
The Child Development & Education Program facilitates students’ mastery of the knowledge, skills, values and dispositions needed to effectively improve the development, learning and well-being of children from birth through adolescence. Early Childhood Education is a worthy, interdisciplinary and systems-oriented discipline deeply rooted in the developmental science of early childhood. For students to gain a comprehensive understanding of children and their families and communities, we provide engaging and supportive learning experiences that emphasize theoretical framework, ethical principles, and hands-on practice teaching.
Whether you want to go into the fields of computer networking,database, system security, software development or web programming, Mt. SAC’s Computer Information Systems (CIS) program offers a comprehensive curriculum of degrees and certificates to prepare you to transfer to a four-year degree program or to transition into an exciting and financially rewarding career in the computer industry.
The Culinary Arts Program prepares students for entry level career opportunities in restaurants, catering, hotels, theme parks, and other food service businesses.
The Economics Discipline at Mt. San Antonio College offers students three different courses that cover the principles of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Business Statistics. The Economics Discipline is a career path of the Business Administration Program at Mt. SAC.
The Family and Consumer Sciences program at Mt. SAC provides classes which prepare students to face the real world challenges of personal finance, life management, and consumer strategies. In addition to offering a certificate in consumer relations, the Family and Consumer sciences program fulfills course requirements for many other degrees where the aforementioned skills benefit students.
The Fashion Program at Mt. SAC offers courses that feature the latest technology related to their respective fields taught by experienced industry professionals. Our hands-on curriculum for Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design and Technologies are continuously updated to reflect current trends in the apparel industry.

Interior Design is a rapidly growing profession that requires both creativity and technical knowledge to solve design problems. Mt. SAC will prepare you for careers in residential,restaurant, retail, corporate and business interior design.
Whether you are interested in a career in nutrition and dietetics, or simply want to learn more about making wise food choices to improve your health and energy, the Nutrition and Foods program offers classes to help you reach your goal.
The paralegal profession has grown tremendously since it first appeared in the mid-1960's. Now, there are more than 224,000 paralegals working in the United States. Additionally, paralegal jobs are projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2014, equating to a growth rate of 27% or more.
The Real Estate Program at Mt. SAC prepares students with the knowledge and foundation they need to pursue a career in Real Estate. We offer 12 courses that emphasize the principles and procedures of the industry. In addition, Mt. SAC offers a degree and certificate in Real Estate.
