Outcomes Assessment
Outcomes are statements of what students know, think, feel or do upon successful completion of a course or program. Outcomes assessment is a collaborative process of inquiry regarding student learning outcomes, followed by analysis, reflection, and action. The goal of outcomes assessment is to improve student learning through improved instruction, curricula, programs, and/ or services. Outcomes assessment includes Institutional Level Outcomes (ILO), Degree Certificate Outcomes (DCO), and Student Learning Outcomes (SLO).
