The Mt. SAC Theater Program will stage its 10th annual production of student shows, “Sights Unseen,” on Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 7-9, at 8 p.m., with a special Sunday matinee, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m., in Mt. SAC’s Studio Theater.
For only the second time in the college’s history, both the men’s and women’s cross country teams have concurrently captured the California Community College State Championship. The last time this happened was in 1989.

The Mt. SAC Student Life Office will host a Community Volunteer Fair for local organizations that would like to recruit student volunteers on Thursday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on campus just north of the library and west of the Student Life Center, building 9C.
Mt. SAC recently received just over $68,000 through the California Community College Chancellor’s Office to establish a Hunger Free Campus program at the college.
Student Services Vice President Audrey Yamagata-Noji was the recipient of the Scott Goodnight Award from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) during the association’s western regional conference on Nov. 6 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
