Qualifying Life Event

Outside of the open enrollment period, you may make changes to your enrollment if you have a qualifying life event. A qualifying life event (QLE) is a certain change in your life situation that triggers a special enrollment window for you outside the annual Open Enrollment period, such as marriage/divorce, birth of a child, or gain/loss of coverage for you or your dependents. 

To begin the QLE special enrollment process, please notify the Benefits Department at HRbenefits@mtsac.edu within 30 days of the life event date and upload the related dependent documents via Dropbox.

 DEPENDENT DOCUMENTS:

If you are newly enrolling dependents in health coverage, dependent verification must be submitted to Human Resources. Dependent verification documents may be submitted securely through Dropbox.
