Mt. SAC Important Message

Mt. SAC is aware of a fire in La Verne approximately one mile from Brackett Field. There is no impact on the college’s Brackett Field operations at this time. We are monitoring the situation with faculty and staff at the location, as well as air quality for the Mt. SAC campus. We will provide updates as needed.

Chemistry Outreach Events

The Chemistry Department hosts 2 outreach events per year, one in the fall and one in the spring. These events are designed to engage the student body and the surrounding communities to promote chemistry and other sciences.

  • Family Science Festival

    The Family Science Festival is a community outreach event hosted by the Mt. SAC Chemistry Department to promote chemistry and science to neighboring communities.     The annual General Chemistry Competition is an event hosted by the Mt. SAC Chemistry Department to encourage and promote chemistry knowledge. All Mt.
