Labor Relations

Mt. SAC employees are represented by two union organizations.  Faculty are represented by the Mt. SAC Faculty Association. Classified employees (non-management) are represented by the California School Employees Association (CSEA).

    • CSEA 262

      CSEA Chapter 262

      CSEA Chapter 262 was chartered in 1964 and is the exclusive representative for non-teaching academic and administrative professionals of Mt. San Antonio College "Unit A."

      CSEA Chapter 262 has exclusive bargaining rights for salaries, health and welfare benefits, holidays, and other rights negotiated with the District. Members are either "service fee" payees, who are represented by CSEA for contractual issues, and full "Chapter Members," who pay $10 per year for full representational rights.       CSEA Chapter 651

      CSEA Chapter 651 is the sister Chapter of Chapter 262 and is the exclusive representative for maintenance and operations professionals of Mt. San Antonio College "Unit B."

      CSEA Chapter 651 has exclusive bargaining rights for salaries, health and welfare benefits, holidays, and other rights negotiated with the District. Members are either "service fee" payees, who are represented by CSEA for contractual issues, and full "Chapter Members," who pay $10 per year for full representational rights.       Mt. SAC Faculty Association

      The Mt. San Antonio College Faculty Association, Inc., CTA/NEA is an affiliate of the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association.

      The Faculty Association is the exclusive representative for the unit of employees at Mt. San Antonio College known as professors. Included in this unit are Full-Time Regular, Contract, and Temporary Instructors, Counselors, Librarians, Department Chairpersons, Instructional Specialists (Disabled Programs and Services), and other faculty on reassigned time.
