At Mt. SAC, a team of medical professionals are ready to assist you. Our physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses are highly skilled and eager to support you.
An appointment is necessary for most services; limited in-person services can be accommodated with a nurse.

Services
The medical team focuses on treatment of minor, non-serious injuries as well as providing basic routine exams.
Here is a short list of some of the services offered:
- Evaluation and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
- Physical exams for Mt. SAC academic programs
- Tuberculosis (TB) testing and immunizations; routine blood and urine tests, and some over the counter medication; e.g. Tylenol, Motrin, are available.
- Routine gynecological and testicular examination
- Sexually transmitted infections screening
- Pregnancy tests
- Birth control pills
- Emergency contraception and condoms
Who Can Receive Services
Credit Students
- Credit students enrolled in one (1) credit course.
- Mt. SAC Student Identification (I.D.) card must be presented at each visit.
- Students who have dropped or withdrawn from classes are no longer eligible for services.
- All students currently enrolled and attending credit classes are eligible to receive all services offered.
Adjunct Faculty
- Adjunct faculty are eligible to receive limited medical services.
- Picture identification, such as a Mt. SAC faculty badge or driver’s license, must be presented at each visit.
- Adjunct faculty may receive services between hire and termination dates only.
Employees
- Employees are eligible to receive services funded by the District such as routinely-scheduled tuberculosis (TB) testing.
- The Hepatitis B Immunization series is offered to employees identified by the Bloodborne Pathogens Program as high-risk for blood and body fluid exposure.
- Picture identification, such as a Mt. SAC faculty or staff badge or driver’s license, must be presented at each visit.
- Employees may receive services between hire and termination dates only.

Alcohol & Drug Prevention Program
The Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations (EDGAR Part 86) require all Institutions of Higher Educations (IHE), who receive any form of federal funding, to adopt and implement a program to prevent the unlawful possessions, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees. Mt. San Antonio College Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention Program has been developed and implemented, and adopted by the Board of Trustees on August 22, 1990.
