I have many dreams and goals, supported by people who believe in me. I often feel incredibly lucky but also scared —scared of failure, but also scared of success. Despite these fears, I always jump, jump to reach my goals, jump uncertain of where it will lead me, and more importantly I jump with my heart on my sleeves. With the support I receive, whether through kind words or this generous scholarship, i feel like i can jump with the strength of those around me, almost as if they're propelling me with their kindness.

I am currently majoring in music theory at Mt. SAC, with aspirations of becoming a music artist who inspires listeners. My interests span all the arts though, and I also hope to create impactful video games, stories, and more. It feels like the worlds wants me to jump, so i will. I will jump so high i cant come back down. And once that happens, i will retire my mom and fly her around the world. Then, I will give back to everyone, especially those who need it, like i do now. Those who will be in my shoes one day. So its important for me to remember moments like this.
