Electronics and computers touch virtually every aspect of modern life. Our hands-on degree and certificate programs prepare you for high-paying careers in a broad range of industries.
Pathways
Prepare for careers as a technician in electronics or transfer into a bachelor's program in engineering technology, electronics, or industrial technology. The Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology program provides basic and advanced training in analog and digital circuits, electronic communications, microprocessors and computers, and industrial electronics.
Enter careers as computer and networking service technicians through the Computers & Networking Technology program. It provides training in electronics fundamentals as well as in-depth study of operating systems, computer hardware, wired and wireless networks, and servers. Students are prepared for industry-standard certification examinations (A+, Network+, Security+, and Server+).
Quickly enter the workforce as an electronics systems technician. The Electronics Systems Technology program provides students with hands-on training in low-voltage wiring and cabling (including fiber optic, coax, and unshielded twisted pair) and terminations for voice, video, and data systems. Technicians work in a range of settings, including with cable providers; electrical contractors; computer and networking companies; and home automation contractors.
