Steps to become an ACCESS student:

- 1Apply to Mt. SAC
  
  Complete an Application for Admission to Mt. San Antonio College online at www.cccapply.org
  Apply for Financial Aid online at www.studentaid.gov for possible assistance with covering costs of your college education.
- 2Apply to ACCESS
  Fill out an application for ACCESS services online through the MyACCESS web portal. and provide documentation of your condition.
  
  Documentation may include:
  - Medical Verification of Disability - If you don't have documentation in written form, you may take the verification of your disability (PDF ) form to a licensed professional
  - Psychological Verification of Disability - If you don't have documentation in written form, you may take the verification of your disability (PDF ) form to a licensed professional
  - Audiogram (hearing loss verification)
  - IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) or 504 Plan and Psycho Educational Assessement
  - Visual Acuity
- 3Complete the AQ and Orientation
  
  Complete the Assessment Questionnaire AQ (Step 1) and New Student Orientation (Step 2) on your Mt. SAC Portal. These steps are available on the Student Success tab.

- 4See an ACCESS Counselor
  
  Schedule an appointment with an ACCESS Counselor. To do this, contact us at (909) 274 - 4290 or visit our office in 9B - Student Services builing.
- 5Register for Classes
  Register for your classes online. Counselors are available in ACCESS to help you choose classes and assist with registration. For more information, contact the ACCESS Center.
- 6 Request Accommodations!
  Complete a written request for accommodations (PDF ) each term immediately after registration.

Meet Our Centers!

Accessible Technology Center

The Accessible Technology Center (ATC) is a state of the art instructional center that is comprised of the latest assistive technologies as well as professional staff to support students in achieving their academic goals. It is home to the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program and the Alternate Media Program, the ATC also provides instructional assistance in various academic disciplines.

The Center for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing

This cultural and academic center provides a space for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students to receive the support needed to be successful at Mt. SAC. The Center has a variety of services for Deaf students.

Puzzle Project

Puzzle Project is a series of workshops for Mt. SAC credit students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). During these workshops, you will learn a variety of skills that can be applied to daily life.
