- What should I wear?
- Suggested attire is dressy-casual.
- Dress in what you might wear to a nice dinner or recognition ceremony (a dress shirt or a nice top and pants, or dresses/skirts, etc.).
- The celebration will take place rain or shine.
- What is the format of this event?
5:00 - 6:00pm Check in & Reception
Appetizers and beverages will be provided.
All students should check-in and take their seats by 6:00pm.6:00 - 7:30pm Ceremony
After a brief welcome and student speaker, transferring students will be invited to the stage to receive a medal as their names and universities are announced. We will also read the names of supportive faculty, staff, and administrators whose names were submitted by students. - I cannot attend. Can I still receive my certificate and medal?
Yes, please still register for the event (if you have not already done so) and indicate that you cannot attend.
Be sure to pick up your items before the June 13 Commencement ceremony if you want to wear your medal that day.
Certificates and medals can be picked up at the Transfer Center during the following hours:
June 2: 9:00am - 7:00pm
June 3: 9:00am - 2:00pm
June 4 & 5: 9:00am - 5:00pm
June 6: 9:00am - 4:30pm
June 9 & 10: 9:00am - 7:00pm
June 11 & 12: 9:00am - 5:00pm
June 13: 9:00am - 4:30pmYou can also pick up your items after June 13 (Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm; closed on June 19).
Hours are subject to change. Please contact transfercenter@mtsac.edu if you need to request alternate arrangements. You’re welcome to send a friend/family member to pick up your items if you cannot personally come to the Transfer Center.
- I did not sign-up. Can I still attend?
Yes, you can attend. Please follow these steps:
- Join us at the celebration on June 3. You can register when you arrive.
- Visit the Transfer Center during our office hours to request a certificate.
Please note: this event is intended for students who have applied and/or have been admitted to a university for winter, spring, summer, or fall 2025. If you will be applying for winter, spring, or fall 2026 admission (or after), you are eligible to participate in a future year. - Can I bring guests?
No - unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate friends, family, and guests of attendees. Due to limited space, we invite only transferring students, faculty, staff, and administrators to this event.
