Degrees & Certificates

The Public Safety Department offers a variety of programs for those interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement, fire technology and emergency medical services. Certificates take less time than an Associate Degree, and provide a stepping stone for students to quickly gain skills and knowledge for advancement.

* The Administration of Justice Certificate can be completed online or in person.

** The EMT Certificate Program is available through our School of Continuing Education's EMT Vocational Program. 

*** The Fire Technology Certificate offers courses online or in person. 75% of classes are available online
