A judge’s ruling provided Mt. San Antonio College with a clear path forward for the college to construct its solar project, which had been challenged by the City of Walnut and nearby residents.

Mt. SAC will host the 2nd Annual Disability Athletics Faire, an activities event for the community’s disabled population, on Saturday, April 8, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to people of any age with any disability.

Mt. SAC students Anna Badillo and Jordan Tang are two of the 85 community college students throughout the state recently selected for the 2017 All-California Academic teams, chosen by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international community college honor society.

Mt. SAC horticulture students successfully defended their national title by taking first, third, and fourth place finishes among the 35 teams competing at the Sports Turf Managers Association’s Annual Conference held recently in Orlando, FL.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges’ Visiting Accreditation Team provided a glowing exit report on Mt. SAC after four days of interviews and meetings with over 60 campus groups.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors recently approved Mt. SAC’s request to change its Board of Trustee elections from odd-numbered years to even years.
