Christian Landa has been involved in several extra-curricular activities, while maintaining high academic grades. Christian has volunteered as a telescope operator during Observation Nights, assisted in the Astronomy classroom, worked as a supplemental instructor in the Astronomy Lab, while also serving as treasurer for the Astronomy Club. During the past ten years, he has enjoyed working as a tutor with the City of Pomona after-school programs. His own love of learning and teaching drives him to motivate other’s interest in learning. Christian is majoring in Physics and Astronomy and will be transferring to Cal Poly Pomona to purse his bachelor’s degree. Upon completing undergraduate studies, he will attend graduate school and earn advanced degrees in Astronomy. His career goal is to teach Astronomy at a community college and continue to help inspire students.
