Mt. SAC Important Message

Mt. SAC is aware of a fire in La Verne approximately one mile from Brackett Field. There is no impact on the college’s Brackett Field operations at this time. We are monitoring the situation with faculty and staff at the location, as well as air quality for the Mt. SAC campus. We will provide updates as needed.

Nikki Cielo (2018)

Nikki Cielo is a graphic designer working toward a B.F.A. in graphic design in addition to an A.A. in Astronomy. As a graphic design intern, he is a member of the Robotics Mobility team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His goal is to transfer to Art Center College of Design or the Rhode Island School of Design. His career goal is to be a graphic designer in the aerospace industry, ideally working at JPL or SpaceX. In addition to his studies, Nikki has worked as graphic designer of the Mt. SAC Planetarium, Supplemental Instructor in Astronomy, and volunteer telescope operator. He has also served as Vice President of the Astronomy Club.
