Ernesto Fuentes – 2017 ESSRG

The Redinger Family Earth & Space Science Research Grant was my introduction into academic research. I presented my research at the annual Geological Society of America conference in Seattle, Washington. For the first time in my life I was a contributor of information and not just a consumer of information. I have since transferred to the University of California, Davis. The ESSRG has given me valuable experience that will make me a competitive applicant for future research positions.
