Desiree Kroner – 2014 ESSRG

Desiree Kroner is a former Mt. SAC student, currently attending the University of California, Los Angeles [UCLA), where she is working toward her ultimate academic goal of a PhD degree in Geology. She believes that she has been especially fortunate to work with her mentor, Dr. Robert M Nelson, a past Kepler Distinguished Speaker and well respected former JPL scientist. She has presented before the Chinese Institute of Engineers and co-published with Dr. Nelson for the 2015 American Geophysical Union. She has been a recipient of many scholarships. Along with being a Mt. SAC Kepler scholar, she was awarded the Henry and Elis Clay Scholarship at UCLA.
