Presidential Awards

Presidential Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning

 

Established in 2011 by Dr. Bill Scroggins, the Presidential Awards provide a monetary award to those distinguished departments and individuals who have used SLO assessment for the improvement of teaching and learning.

Awards are presented for excellence and innovation in the following three categories:

1. Outstanding Curriculum Efforts ($2,000 to department)
2. Outstanding Basic Skills Efforts ($2,000 to department)
3. Personal Innovation ($1,000 to an individual through the Foundation)
