Designed for incoming African American/Black students and their families, this event is your chance to meet the faculty and staff who are dedicated to supporting your success, explore the resources and services available through the Center for Black Culture & Student Success, and learn about the Black student experience at Mt. SAC.

HBCU Fall Tour (Homecoming Edition)

Experience the rich history, culture, and traditions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) on our Annual HBCU Fall Tour (Homecoming Edition)! From October 12–18, 2026, students* will travel through Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia to visit eight distinguished HBCUs: Tennessee State University, Fisk University, Alabama A&M University, Talladega College, Tuskegee University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore campus life, connect with admissions representatives, learn about transfer pathways, and experience the excitement and pride of HBCU Homecoming season. Whether you're considering transferring to an HBCU or simply want to deepen your understanding of these historic institutions, this transformative experience offers invaluable insight, inspiration, and community. Space is limited. More information and application details will be available soon.
