Explore transfer options, requirements, application deadlines, university costs, and
more. |
Financing Your Transfer Education: Mt. SAC Scholarship Program |
Attend this session to learn how to apply to Mt. SAC’s Scholarship Program, which
offers over $400,000 in scholarships to students who are continuing their education
in the 2021-22 school year! |

How to Get Involved on Campus |
This session will provide information about ways to enhance the transfer admission
application through campus involvement. Students will learn about the Mt. SAC Activities
Transcript and how to get involved through Associated Students and the LEAD Program. |
Transfer Admissions Guarantees |
Students will learn how they can guarantee admission to UC, CSU, HBCUs, and private
& out of state universities. |

Attend this workshop to learn more about a variety of summer and yearlong preparatory
programs that strive to motivate, inform and prepare students to transfer from a California
community college to a university. |
Understanding the World of Majors and Careers
|
Did you know that your major does not necessarily determine your career? Would you
like to understand the relationship between both? This workshop will teach you how
you can choose a major and still pursue the career of your interest. The session will
include a discussion about basic strategies on selecting a major as it relates to
the transfer process. |
Transfer Transitions: Preparing for the University
|
Students will learn strategies to make a seamless transition from Mt. SAC to the university
by exploring housing options, identifying resources for transfer students at the university,
and making an informed decision when selecting a transfer destination. |
Closing Session: Transfer Sendoff

Calling all Transfer-Bound Mounties! To close the conference, we will capture insights
from conference attendees developing a transfer action plan to pave your path toward
a university. We will also celebrate your resiliency and remind you of your critical
contributions to academia. Institutions of higher education need you, and you will
be transfer-ready with the knowledge and skills to succeed at the university and beyond! |

Building a Transfer Success Network
Learn about ways to build a network at Mt. SAC and your transfer institution through
campus involvement.

CSU Fullerton Next Steps
Fall 2020 applicants are encouraged to attend this workshop for tips, upcoming deadlines,
and next steps for a successful transfer to CSUF.

How to STEM: Transferring as a STEM Major from Mt. SAC
If you’re interested in pre-med, engineering, computer science, or any other STEM-related
field, come to this workshop to learn about the transfer process and tips for success.

Join representatives from Azusa Pacific University, Biola University, Brandman University,

Transfer Action Plan: Preparing to Apply
This workshop will assist you with developing an action plan and strategies for a
successful transfer. (Recommended for students who have not applied to universities.)

Transfer Action Plan: Transitioning to the University
This workshop will assist you with developing an action plan to make a seamless transition
from Mt. SAC to the university. Learn about important deadlines, accepting admission/submitting
the intent to register, tips for housing, etc. This workshop will also teach you how
to navigate the academic and social environment at a university. (Recommended for
students who have already applied to universities.)

Transfer Preparation Programs & UCLA CCCP Scholars Program Presentation
Through a variety of summer and yearlong preparatory programs, UCLA’s Center for Community
College Partnerships strives to motivate, inform and prepare students to transfer
from a California community college to a selective Top Tier Research institution such
as UCLA. Attend this workshop to learn more about the summer programs and application
process. This workshop will also provide information about other programs that will
prepare you to transfer.
