Frank Tran

Frank Tran has been a professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Mt. SAC since 2002.

 

I would like to give you a small glimpse of my online class structure, so that you know what to expect in my class.

 

In my Spring 2021 Math 180 + Math 18 class: This is a corequisite class, which means there is an extra 2 unit portion designed to give extra support in various aspects of the class. We will be using Canvas courses for both Math 180 and Math 18.

My class is synchronous, which means we will meet on Zoom: Monday, Wednesday, Friday. A working webcam is strongly recommended, and you are expected to participate via Zoom Chat, Speaking, Breakout Rooms. Lecture recordings will be posted. Blank lecture notes will be posted. A physical copy of the textbook is not required. Homework assignments will be in the form of Worksheets, Textbook Problems. Homework assignments will generally be due Monday. All exams will be in the form of PDF Uploads. Exams will be conducted during class time.
