Why Learn Italian?
It's a Humanities class that you can take Asynchronously without the need of Textbooks. Perhaps you would like to travel to Italy with us one day or even spend some time to Study Abroad. Italy is famous for its history, culture, food, music, fashion, architecture, art and many other traditions portrayed in the movies. (Italian Cinema class)
Italian is a Romance language spoken by about 63 million people, primarily in Italy and Switzerland, where Italian is an official language (in Switzerland along with German and French). Other 65 million speakers of Italian origin reside around the world. Of the Romance languages, Italian is one of the closest resembling Latin and very close sister to Spanish.
Mt. SAC offers beginning and intermediate, university-transferable Italian language courses that include both verbal and written learning, taught by native speakers in both English and Italian.
Join us and register for any available Fall 2026 class online or in person.
