The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program is a Japanese government-sponsored program that brings participants from around the world to Japan to promote international exchange and foreign language education. Participants typically work as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in schools or as Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) in local government offices. The program offers a unique opportunity to gain professional experience while living in Japan and becoming part of a local community.
Who can apply?
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree by the time they depart for Japan. College seniors are welcome to apply as long as they expect to complete their bachelor’s degree before departure.
Whether you are already considering the JET Program or simply curious about opportunities to live and work in Japan, we encourage you to attend and learn more!
