Mt. SAC Library Book Bracket The Sweet Sixteen Is Here!

The Mt. SAC Library’s From Shelf to Screen tournament of books is heating up! After an exciting first round, half the books have been knocked out, leaving us with the Sweet Sixteen.

 

Round 1 delivered a few blowouts and an upset:

• The Godfather dominated Scarface in a blowout of 80% to 20% of the votes

• The Silence of the Lambs pulled off an upset against Stephen King’s popular It. Hello Hannibal! Bye-bye Pennywise.

• Full Round 1 results appear at the bottom of the voting form.

 

Now the remaining books — which inspired popular movies and TV shows — are facing off again, and your vote decides which advance to the Elite Eight.
