Facilities Condition Assessment - Assessors on Campus Weeks of July 14, July 28, and August 11

Dear Campus Community,

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our facilities, Mt. SAC will be participating in a scheduled Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA), coordinated by the Foundation for California Community Colleges. This assessment is part of a statewide effort conducted every three to four years and helps inform future facilities planning, budgeting, and improvement efforts.

Two assessors will be on campus for approximately 15 days during the following weeks:

  • Week of July 14, 2025
  • Week of July 28, 2025
  • Week of August 11, 2025

During this time, the assessors will be visually surveying the condition of all buildings and rooms, including classrooms, offices, labs, athletic facilities, and mechanical areas. They will take a discreet approach and seek permission before entering any actively occupied or restricted areas. Assessors will display identification while they are on campus, and will be accompanied by a member of the Mt. SAC Design and Construction team whenever possible.
