Marketing Your Event

As your event is being prepared for upload to POD Connect and opened for registration, please consider your advertising needs.
Pay careful attention to the timeline as multiple action items will be time sensitive. Your POD liaison will provide guidance throughout the process.

Advertising Event: Timeline and Key Questions to Consider:
Timeline: 4 weeks in advance of the event date.

  • Determine advertising needs
    • Do you need focused advertising?
      • Weekly POD generated emailers to constituent groups is used to promote upcoming POD Calendar events, will this suffice?
    • Who will develop & provide marketing flyers?
      • Are there any specific logos to be used for the event?
        • Who will provide artwork?
      • Will printing take place?
        • Color or black & white
          • Account string for color copies will need to be provided
        • Who will release the marketing information via email?
      • Determine schedule for marketing/advertising
        • How often will advertising take place?
