Event Evaluations: Survey Options

As you prepare for your event in partnership with POD, the following items will provide guidance on the use of evaluation and survey tools.
Pay careful attention to the timeline as multiple action items will be time sensitive.
Your POD liaison will provide guidance throughout the process.

Evaluation/Survey planning
Timeline: 3 weeks in advance of the event date

Prior to 2021, POD assisted with the distribution and calculation of presentation evaluations.  Currently, we offer the following to presenters: 

Recurring presentations on topics unrelated to special events: 

  1. Activate the questionnaire in POD connect tied to the session (attached) (All sessions have this for 2 weeks active on an employee’s transcript).
  2. A template in Qualtrics that can be modified by the presenter to drill down to specific outcomes being measured. Not maintained by POD. (Attached and link).

Special Events or New Series 

  1. Activate the questionnaire in POD connect tied to the session (attached) (All sessions have this for 2 weeks active on an employee’s transcript).
  2. Or special assistance creating the survey in Qualtrics with specific measures for learning outcomes and/or survey design. There is a 3 week lead time required.
  3. Assistance aligning with larger campus initiatives and referral to Research and Institutional Effectiveness office for active research projects which relate or for longitudinal research and data needs.
