Lynne grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and attended Mt. Sac’s photo program. From Mt. Sac she transferred to the Art Center College of Design and earned a degree in photography. Shortly after graduation Lynne was hired by Petersen Publishing, a self-proclaimed “dream job” where she had the opportunity to photograph everything from cars, motorcycles, product and people for Motor Trend, Hot Rod, Motorcyclist and many other magazine titles owned by Petersen Publishing. Lynne has over 600 magazine covers to her credit.
After leaving Petersen Publishing Lynne pursued a freelance career that has included many published articles relating to aviation and airplanes. Being a freelance photographer has created an opportunity to continue to work for various magazine titles, doing product and portrait photography on location and in her studio.
Always wanting to teach, Lynne began teaching in 1999 and it has been a thrill for her to return to her alma mater where she enjoyed and learned so much as a student. She began teaching at Mt. Sac in 2001.
