The Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation standards require the prior 3 years’ program data be available to current and prospective students. The following information is provided for your review. 2016 data is pending course completion and survey data. As of 12/30/2016, retention for 2016 is 74.55%. NREMT Written exam pass rate is 100% first-time for all candidates testing in 2016.

or continuing education requirements or courses please refer to the L.A. County EMS Agency website. Often, candidates have questions regarding legal issues that may prevent them from
licensure or are in need of recertification and need information regarding the requirements
for recertification. Disciplinary actions are contained within section 1798.200. Certification issues are addressed in Article 5 of the Health and Safety Code, paragraph
100080.

NATIONAL REGISTRY INFORMATION: All EMT and Paramedic candidates now must pass the National Registry of EMTs exam
to be certified (EMT) or licensed (Paramedic). For information regarding testing
