Mandatory Orientation
The dates below outline the introductory phases of our upcoming classes. Each class, including didactic, clinical and field phases of training is approximately 10 months long.
Note: The Paramedic program has three required pre-program activities; an orientation, EMS 1 and EMS 2. These days contain different content and are both mandatory. Saturdays are family orientation days.

Important
It is CRUCIAL that candidates not only prepare academically, but also personally and financially. This is a full-time program. You will need to prepare for living expenses and not working to ensure your success and decrease your stress.
The Paramedic Program is nationally accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAA-HEP) & by the Committee on Accreditation of EMS Professions (CoAEMSP). Our Program is approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services as meeting the EMS Education Standards as specified in Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, Health and Safety Code and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Paramedic Curriculum.
