Transfer Achievement Celebration Honors University-bound Students

Mt. SAC likes to celebrate its students when they go on to greater things. In addition to the large annual commencement ceremony, Mt. SAC also has a separate ceremony for students transferring on to four-year institutions. The Transfer Achievement Celebration will be held June 9 at 6 p.m. and students need to sign up by May 27 at: bit.ly/mtsactac22

“We are thrilled to recognize this important step along our students’ educational pathways,” said Marci Matsushita-Sanchez, Director of the Transfer Center. “We want to remind them that we always have their backs as they transition to new and exciting institutions of higher learning.”

The annual Transfer Achievement Celebration will be held at the Hilmer Lodge Stadium, one day prior to Commencement.

Any Mt. SAC student who has applied and/or been admitted to a university for Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall 2022 is eligible to register for the celebration.

“If you have not selected a university yet, we still need you to sign up for the Transfer Celebration by May 27,” said Matsushita-Sanchez.

Every student that takes part will be recognized by name and transfer university, receive a transfer medallion and certificate, as well as be able to acknowledge influential and supportive Mt. SAC faculty, staff, and administrators.
