The annual Associated Students’ Halloween festival will be held next week, and this year’s theme is, “A Nightmare on Grand” - presumably named for the nearby thoroughfare.
A Nightmare on Grand Thursday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On the grass in front of the LibraryHere are highlights from the 2024 Halloween Festival
The event promises free food, music, carnival games, crafts and an ominously-titled “spooky photobooth”.
“It’s a fan favorite. Everyone loves Halloween,” said Associated Students’ President Jessica Tan.
Student performers as scare actors will be doing their best to haunt the proceedings.
Activities Senator Vivian Chhaip, who is leading the planning of the event, said, “We’re going to have a great time, and there will be a lot of prizes given out.”
She said to also expect a donut-eating competition, facepainting, temporary tattoos, and a raffle for Universal Studios tickets.
