The Student TechHub is a drop-in space for all students to access personalized IT assistance and support between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays.

“The Student TechHub serves as a dedicated, centralized campus location at the Building  410 Student Center where students can drop in for personalized IT support and resources,” said Pedro L. Suarez, Mt. SAC’s Assistant Director, Academic Technology. “It’s our version of a Genius Bar designed for Mt. SAC students.”

  • Password Reset
  • Access to applications and navigating software such as logging into Mt. SAC Portal, Wi-Fi, Canvas, etc.
  • Power/Battery Issues for Student Laptop Loaner Equipment

  • Promoting the Student Laptop Loaner Program (Laptops and Hotspots)
  • Referral to any other technical questions and concerns

“Students are always welcome to visit the TechHub for any technical issue, concern, or question,” Suarez said. “Our team combines Mt. SAC IT experts and student workers to create a supportive, peer-to-peer environment.

“Our mission is to empower students to achieve their academic goals by turning technology into a tool for success – not a barrier.”
