Cash for College Event To Provide Financial Assistance To Students

Mt. SAC will hold Cash for College, its financial aid and scholarship fair, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.
Check-in for the event with be at 9 a.m. at the south entrance of Building 6, and walk-ins are welcome.
Cash for College provides hands-on assistance to college-bound students and their parents in completing and filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid application (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the 2026-2027 academic year.
"This year, we are expanding the event beyond financial aid application support to include a stronger focus on transfer pathways and student-services connections," said Michelle Casas, Manager, Financial Aid and Speical Programs. "Students and families will be able to connect with Mt. SAC departments, speak with representatives from CSU, UC, and private universities, and participate in interactive activities such as our inflatable cube and student-led engagement stations."
Students should bring:
- Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID (For FAFSA filers ONLY)
- Driver's License, if you have one
- Social Security Card, if you have one
- Permanent Resident Card, if you have one
- Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), if you have one
- List of Colleges you are interested in
- Most current bank statements
- Any records of untaxed income
- 2024 tax year information (1040s and W2s)
