Cash for College Event To Provide Financial Assistance To Students

Mt. SAC will hold Cash for College, its financial aid and scholarship fair, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

Check-in for the event with be at 9 a.m. at the south entrance of Building 6.

Cash for College provides hands-on assistance to college-bound students and their parents in completing and filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid application (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Students should bring:

  • Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID (For FAFSA filers ONLY)
  • Driver's License, if you have one
  • Social Security Card, if you have one
  • Permanent Resident Card, if you have one
  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), if you have one
  • List of Colleges you are interested in
  • Most current bank statements
  • Any records of untaxed income
  • 2024 tax year information (1040s and W2s)

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about student services during a resource and workshop fair.
