Mt. SAC Associate Students and the Political Science Club will host a candidates forum for the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees candidates, Area 2, on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 5 to 7 p.m., in the Student Life Center, 9C.

The Mt. SAC Repertory Dance Company will perform a variety of dance styles at its Annual Fall Repertory Dance Concert on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 26 - 28, at the college's Sophia Clarke Theater.

The Mt. SAC Music Department will present its Fall Faculty Jazz Concert on Saturday, Oct. 20, 7:30 p.m., in the Feddersen Recital Hall.

The Mt. SAC Theater Program will stage its production of "You Can't Take It With You" on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, at 8 p.m., with a special Sunday matinee, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m., in the college's Clarke Theater.

Mt. SAC will hold its Cash for College event on Saturday, Oct. 13, beginning at 9 a.m.

Mt. SAC’s Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will hold an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 4 to 7 p.m., at the center in building 9D. Light refreshments will be served.

Mt. SAC will observe Emergency Preparedness Month in October with a host of workshops and training sessions, starting with an Emergency Preparedness Fair Tuesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Mountie Café Walkway.

Mt. SAC’s English as a Second Language Program will host an open house and community resource fair on Saturday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Language Center courtyard, building 66.

Mt. SAC will host the Second Annual Chinese Cultures and Histories Workshop, a series of presentations on China, on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1 - 2, in the Design Technology Center auditorium, building 13, room 1700.
