Before receiving tutoring, you must be registered for the MARCS. Please visit our
Registration Page for instructions, or see the front counter staff during your first visit.
For fastest service, bring your Mt SAC ID card. ID cards can be obtained for free
from the Mt. SAC Bookstore. Your ID card is not required to receive tutoring, but
it is preferred.
The MARCS offers drop-in tutoring. That means you do not need an appointment! Just
check in at the front counter, have a seat, and write your name on the board when
you need help. Questions are taken in the order received and there is typically little
to no wait.
The MARCS is located in Building 61 on the 1st floor. You may enter the MARCS through
Room 1314 or 1318. Click here for a campus map.
Tutoring for all math classes is available Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-7:00pm, and
Friday from 8:30am-3:00pm (closed on Fridays in Winter and Summer sessions).
