CSEA 262 Governance
Committee Representative

CSEA Chapter 262 is accepting applications for volunteers to be representatives to various Mt. SAC campus committees. If you would like to volunteer to be a CSEA 262 representative, please fill out the form below.

CSEA 262 needs representatives for both campus committees and selection/recruitment committees. Selection committees interview and recommend candidates for open positions while campus committees are part of the college governance process. CSEA 262 has prepared an information sheet explaining your rights and resposibilities for each type of committee. Download and read these sheets before deciding whether to volunteer as a Chapter 262 representative.

If you would like to view the "Classified Roles in Participatory Governance" given at Classified Professional Development day, click here.

You must be a Chapter 262 member to be appointed as a representative. You do not need your immediate manager's approval to be a representative. CSEA 262 will notify your immediate manager of your appointment. To learn more about these committees, you can visit each committee's web page by clicking here.

Select the committee(s) for which you would like to be a representative (up to three)

In the space below, please briefly explain (100 words or less please) how you would be able to contribute to the committee and why you are interested in being a representative for your CSEA Chapter 262. This is not a requirement for eligibility, but the preference is to appoint members to committees for which they can most contribute. Selecting a committee because you want to learn more about the subject of the committee for professional growth would be a good example.

Thank you for volunteering to be a CSEA Chapter 262 committee representative!
